Rodin
Will talking to his pupils.

This week I visited the fantastic Rodin exhibition at the royal academy with a few friends on a 'sketch crawl'.
At first I questioned drawing sculptures, but I really enjoyed it. it’s a great way to really study a sculpt and take it all in. drawing these instead of life made me concentrate more the mass of the objects and keeping that consistent. I recommend visiting the exhibition .

Pirates ahoy !
After watching the swashbuckling movie master and commander this weekend I dug up some old pictures. They were part of a comic book I started at college, so bear with me, They were the best of the bunch.
ANIMAL!

Been a while since I posted, (had to think about my password). Got a few things to post up, this blog and the airship chronicles. So come back soon!
Meanwhile take a peek at the images below.
My elder sister recently got married (congratulation!), instead of table numbers for the sit-down meal they had different animal pictures on each table, (Safari animals with relevance to the honeymoon). These are the images, ill post more soon.
Clash of the special-effect techniques

Yesterday I read over on 'animated-news' Warner brothers are planning a remake of Clash of the Titans. Instantly I mumbled and cursed in annoyed grunts. I grew up watching this film... all Harryhausen movies.... why remake it!
I hope they rework the story based on the mythology and not recreate the Harryhausens film with cgi.
